As the end of another difficult pandemic year approached, the Pasir Panjang Private Estate Association (PPPEA) Residents’ Network commenced Project Alpha, in hopes of bringing some cheer to the tireless frontline caregivers serving homes in the Pasir Panjang area. On December 23, 2021, after weeks of planning, gathering of resources and packing by our volunteers, we distributed 100 goodie bags to staff and workers at Breakthrough Missions at Yew Siang Road, the Windsor Convalescent Home and Jamiyah Halfway House at Pasir Panjang Road.

Our volunteers also helped to identify and distribute goodie bags to some seniors in our estate and also to the Masjid Ahmad Mosque at Lorong Sarhad. It was a moving and affirmative process when we saw the warm smiles that greeted us.
